      Onboarding Guide: Granting Access to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

      This document provides an overview of how to grant Upp.ai access to your GA4 account.

      Granting Access for Upp.ai to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

      To enable Upp.ai to access your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) data, you need to grant access to the email address "data@upp.ai." Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete this process.

      Step 1: Log in to Your Google Analytics Account

      1. Open your web browser and go to the Google Analytics website.
      2. Sign in using your Google Analytics account credentials.

      Step 2: Navigate to Account Settings

      1. Once logged in, click on the "Admin" icon located at the bottom left corner of the page.

      Step 3: Select the Appropriate Account and Property

      1. In the "Account" column, select the account that contains the property you want to grant access to.
      2. In the "Property" column, select the property for which you want to grant access.

      Step 4: Manage User Access

      1. In the "Property" column, click on "Property Access Management."

      Step 5: Add Upp.ai as a User

      1. Click the blue "+" button in the top right corner.
      2. Select "Add users" from the drop-down menu.

      Step 6: Enter User Details

      1. In the email address field, enter "data@upp.ai."
      2. Ensure the "Notify new users by email" box is checked.

      Step 7: Set User Permissions

      1. Select the "Viewer" role to grant read-only access.
      2. Ensure the permissions do not include any editing or management capabilities.

      Step 8: Confirm and Save

      1. Click "Add" to save the new user and permissions.

      Confirmation

      You have successfully granted read access to Upp.ai (data@upp.ai) for your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) account. Upp.ai will now be able to access your analytics data to assist you in optimising your Google Ads performance without the ability to make any changes.
