      Onboarding: Connecting your Merchant Centre Account to Upp.ai

      The document below provides a step by step guide to allow Upp.ai to access your merchant centre account.

      Granting Read Access to Upp.ai for Your Google Merchant Centre Account

      To ensure that Upp.ai can access your SKU product information within your Google Merchant Centre account, you need to authenticate the user address "data@upp.ai" and grant read access. Upp.ai does not require write permissions, meaning it will only have the ability to view your data and not make any changes. Please follow the step-by-step guide below:

      Step 1: Log in to Your Google Merchant Centre Account

      1. Open your web browser and go to the Google Merchant Centre website.
      2. Sign in using your Google Merchant Centre account credentials.

      Step 2: Grant Access to Upp.ai

      1. Once logged in, click on the "Tools" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner of the page.
      2. From the drop-down menu, select "Account access" under the "Settings" section.

      Step 3: Add Upp.ai as a User

      1. On the "Account access" page, click the plus button (+) to add a new user.
      2. In the provided field, enter the email address "data@upp.ai" and click "Add user" to send the invitation.

      Step 4: Set User Permissions

      1. After adding the user, you will be directed to the "Manage user" page for Upp.ai
      2. Select the "Read-only" or "Read access" permission level for Upp. This ensures that Upp.ai can only view your SKU product information and not make any changes.
      3. Double-check that the permission level is set to read-only and does not include any write permissions.
      4. Review the other settings and preferences on the page, such as email notifications, and adjust them according to your preferences.
      5. Once you have confirmed the settings, click "Save" to grant read access to Upp.ai

      Confirmation

      You have successfully granted read access to Upp.ai (data@upp.ai) for your Google Merchant Centre account. Upp.ai will now be able to access your SKU product information to assist you in optimising your Google Ads performance without the ability to make any changes.
